At 30 years old, Jérôme Lando-Casanova has earned his nickname of "atypical". He started golfing only at 19 years old, after a injury keeping him away from football.
His rise is meteoric. French Amateur Champion in August 2011, he passes pro in November of the same year. After a learning period on the Alps Tour, he only needed a season to get promoted to the Challenge Tour in 2013. For his second season on the Challenge Tour, Jérôme obtains a ticket for the Dubai Grand Final in November 2014. After a first round in 78 (+6), Jérôme has to go above and beyond: He has to finish first or second.
After a breathtaking finish, he does it and finishes second, which promotes him to the highest level in Europe, the European Tour. Talent, a mind of steel and lots of work: all the qualities to be part of the Team Oscaro. Even with a first difficult season on the European Tour which ended with relegation to the Challenge Tour, the motivation of Jérôme is stronger than ever. The objective? Get back to the highest level as quickly as possible!
